Message from President
The year 2016 is another milestone in the operation of SCCI Consortium! Last November , 2015, SCCI Management signed up with the Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) a new PPAI contract at an extended term of three years (November 2015 to November 2018). This allows SCCI Consortium the opportunity to continue providing financial assistance and medical care to passengers-victims of accidents involving public utility vehicles. The Program, as envisioned by the LAND TRANSPORTATION FRANCHISING & REGULATORY BOARD (LTFRB), links various transport operators through SCCI Consortium with health care providers, such as hospitals. infirmaries and clinics nationwide, to provide immediate and emergency medical assistance to any passenger-victims of vehicular accidents anywhere in the country. This new Contract also raised the limits of protection, doubling the death benefits and expanding the authorized limits of benefits to cover victims requiring prolong medical care. This Contract is SCCI‘s 3 rd in succession, assuring the public of the continuous medical services and financial support for another term.
